I really enjoy your animations. They are well choreographed, and even occasionally silly. It made for an enjoying morning break.

My three and 5 year old love this. A silly, cute loop is always welcome in my home. Adorable!

I found the spells to be a good representation of some of the older SNES spell effects. My personal favorite was Bolt 1, where it struck from the sky. It brought back fond memories of Assaulting Narshe for the first time with Terra, under control of the Empire.

I'm going to have to say that the best part was the dance at the end. I made me giggle. Good job.

A brief moment of entertainment

The animation was very smooth, and I enjoyed the majority of the hand drawn closeups. The only critique is that your replay button is broken at the end of the movie.

Higher Framerate

Godzilla on a trampoline is amusing. Your animation will be much smoother if you up your frame rate. Also, try and pick out your key frames. Rotoscoping is straightforward animation, but by signifying which frames are your key frames, you will likely have an easier time next time you try. Good job.

Thanks for the Adive!

I remember...

I remember when this was one of the largest (MB wise) of all movies on Newgrounds. Took me 15 minutes to load at college. I still like it.

Very nice effort, some critique for improvement

For such a short period of time spent animating, you did a very nice job. The scene with the Onix's head in the background and the tail in the foreground is particularly well done. Pikachu turning around in the opening scene is also a nice piece of animation.

A few suggestions to improve your work:

-First, a quality button. The full screen motion blur slows down performance significantly. Allowing for either automatic quality changes or select button onscreen would add to the viewers enjoyment.

-Motion blur, while a nice effect, was overused just a little. Shorter instances of blurring and more select application of the blur would help improve the overall effect. Remember that economy is one of the main principles of design-a little can go a long way.

-The ending felt tacked on. It lacked the quality present in the rest of the animation. It detracted from the overall viewing experience, and in my case dropped my rating.

Overall great job.

Brief but entertaining.

The dirt clots to the face was very unexpected and a very clever use of the scenery, making it a part of the show rather than a static background. You have a good eye for creative animation.

Great use of the foreground, facial expressions

The use of the foreground in the first scene added a sense of depth rarely seen in stick battle movies. The quick cuts to the facial expressions were also well timed to add dramatic character to otherwise nameless protagonists. Wonderful effort.
